Christian Spirit
Award
St. James School holds a
most important tradition of bestowing upon an 8th Grader the
Christian Spirit Award. It is a special honor for an 8th grader to
be nominated for this award by his peers. This year’s
nominees for the Christian Spirit Award are Brennan McGuire, Connor
O’Grady, Bobby Gallant, Jeff Madden, Lilly Miossi, Sam
DeFilippo, and Rachel Rapala. These young people have consistently
displayed the qualities of friendliness, respect, responsibility,
cooperation, helpfulness and honesty. Students will vote this week
for one boy and one girl and the winners will be announced at the
Catholic Schools Week Mass in two weeks. All our nominees are
winners. We applaud their daily example of Christian Spirit at St.
James.
